Jesse is the protagonist in Telltale Games' Minecraft: Story Mode. A former competitive builder, Jesse's life changed when they defeated the Wither Storm and became world-famous heroes alongside Petra, Lukas, Axel, and Olivia.
Personality[]
Jesse is portrayed in accordance to the player's choices, though in almost all circumstances, they take the position of an arbitrator and the voice of reason, deliberating between equally viable options in a manner that seeks to disarm any opposition within or outside of their group.
Biography[]
The Order of the Stone[]
Jesse is seen talking to Olivia while fighting an armor stand with a wooden sword. It is here they make the first decision of the game, choosing if they would rather fight 100 chicken-sized zombies or 10 zombie-sized chickens. They will then talk about the EnderCon building competition before Axel bursts in wearing a Creeper mob head.
Jesse, Axel, Olivia, and Reuben leave the treehouse for EnderCon. Here, Jesse will collect supplies for their build.
At EnderCon, a quarrel between Jesse and their rival gang, The Ocelots, breaks out before both teams sign up for the competition.
Jesse can choose to build a Creeper, Zombie, or Enderman. Regardless, the crowd is attracted to their build and Aiden gets jealous, breaking a cobblestone block allowing lava from a nearby build to flow free and burn Reuben, causing him to flee into the forest. Jesse can choose to save Reuben on their own (which will end up having them win the building competition) or have Axel and Olivia come with them (which will make them lose the building competition).
